For years, the owner's of Dolce Pet Care fed our own dogs the standard kibble found in most stores and used the same standard soaps and shampoos and other cleanliness and health products that everyone else did.

 

  As the 90’s progressed and our concerns for our own health continued to grow and evolve, people in the United States, including the owners of Dolce Pet Care, recognized the need for better nutrition and better ways of caring for ourselves.  We began to eat all natural organic food and avoided unhealthy junk foods.  Having sensitive skin, we searched for shampoos and soaps and other personal care products that did not contain harsh chemicals that could irritate our skin or pose other more serious health risks.  As a result of all these changes, lo and behold we began to feel better and had more spring in our step. This was the beginning of the “Health Age” in our country.

 

  However, while the “Health Age” for people continued to grow and develop, we still fed our dogs the same kibble often containing filler and contaminants and used the same inferior soaps and other pet products we had been using for years.  Unfortunately, we failed to recognize the potential damage we were doing to our beloved canine companions.

 

  Then, one day, we had an epiphany.  "Why should our pets have to eat foods loaded with unhealthy chemicals and additives and be exposed to pet ‘care’ products that might harm them. If these kinds of foods and other potentially harmful products could reduce the quality of our lives, or even shorten them, wouldn’t they do the same thing to our pets that are totally dependent on us to look out for them?"

 

Thus, Dolce Pet Care was born.  At Dolce Pet Care, we recognize the need to feed and groom our pets using the same elevated standards for high-quality, all-natural ingredients that we demand for ourselves. As a result, pets that eat our foods and use our pet care products are healthier and happier – and they smell better too!
